Well, here I go again posting a day late! Two and a half year old twin boys should be a sufficient excuse if you go for excuses!
Yesterday was Veteran's Day. I personally wish we did more to remember those who fought for our country. Those who willingly signed up to defend our freedoms should be remembered and honored appropriately. We give parades to baseball teams who win the World Series. That's nice, but don't veterans deserve that and more? I haven't always appreciated these men and women appropriately. Maybe that's just wisdom you gain as you grow older-you learn to appreciate sacrifices that others make much more! So to those currently serving our country, those who served in the past, and to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country and its freedoms, today I am thankful for you!
