9 Months and Exploring the World!

The term "double trouble" has certainly come into play these past couple weeks. The boys are pulling up everywhere, cruising the furniture, and even trying to let go. They love to bang on the windows, tear up the catalogs in the magazine rack, etc. Basically, nothing is sacred anymore!

Finally, they are eating some table foods. Blake especially wasn't very fond of the texture, then just like magic on their 9 month birthday, he decided they weren't so bad. Now he's eating them better than Brett. They love toast made from Mommy's homemade wheat bread. I think they'd sit in their highchairs and eat it all day. They are learning to use their sippy cups themselves without me holding it for them and will even snag their own bottles off the table to feed themselves. Getting them dressed is very difficult. They don't want to stay still for a single second. Actually, the changing table is becoming quite the hazard because of this.

Their favorite things to do are take baths, go for walks outside, ride in the car, read books, and play pat-a-cake. Taylor is a big source of entertainment for them. When they're in their highchairs and she comes in the kitchen and dances around, they just laugh and laugh. She's a huge help to me. The only thing she doesn't do is diapers. Darn, can't win 'em all! LOL!

Their last stats at the Dr. last week: Blake 21lbs 12 oz and 28 6/8 inches, Brett 20lbs 14oz and 28 3/8 inches. Both of them now have 4 teeth and it looks like they are definitely working on more.
